Our BUSINESS IS BOOMING at John Woodie Enterprises! We are a heavy equipment dealer, service shop & parts retailer that has successfully been in business for over 40 years selling: forestry equipment, trailers, dozers, excavators, forklifts, skid steers, attachments, agriculture equipment & construction equipment.

We are seeking highly experienced Diesel/Heavy Equipment Mechanics/Technicians for our shop. As a heavy diesel mechanic/technician with us you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, reconditioning and/or replacing engines & parts on various equipment and trucks.

*Cummins Certification is a HUGE PLUS!* (Higher Pay Rates for Certified Candidates)
*Diesel Experience is REQUIRED!*
*AC Experience is a PLUS!*

Ideal Mechanic/Technician Candidates:

-Strong hydraulics experience is required
-Prior experience working in a forestry and/or heavy construction equipment repair shop
-Possess prior heavy duty diesel/equipment diagnostics & repair experience
-Minimum 3+ yrs of heavy duty diesel/equipment repair & you must have a desire and willingness to learn
-Cummins Certification is a HUGE PLUS, or possess the willingness to learn & get certified
-Welding experience is a PLUS
-Good computer & diagnostic skills, familiarity with code results on scanner
-Hydraulic flow meter diagnostics experience
-Ability to read and understand schematics
-Ability to install a new engine
-Experience with any of our brands is a plus
-Experience with Heavy Equipment Air Conditioning Repair a Plus
-Must have major tools & boxes
-Any certifications are a PLUS
-A CDL is a plus but NOT Required
-Must be career-oriented, on time and dependable
-Must be well organized with the ability to work independently as well as on a team
