Earn $33,280/year to $39,520+/year *(based on exp)

Interstate Batteries of Monroe, NC is a locally owned, franchised location of Interstate Batteries of Charlotte Metro. We are seeking dependable Warehouse Associates with valid Forklift Certifications to add to our warehouse team.

* $16 to $19/hr Plus Over Time *(rate based on experience)
* Earn $2,560/month to $3,100+OT/month *(based on exp)
* Earn $33,280/year to $39,520+OT/year *(based on exp)

Warehouse associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Unloading and loading batteries/inventory
-Operating a forklift
-Shrink-wrapping pallets of inventory
-Driving a company vehicle to make short/small customer deliveries
-Restocking shelves of batteries
-Assist customers as needed
-Keeping the warehouse clean and well organized
-Perform job functions in accordance with all federal, state, local and company policies, procedures & safety regulations

The Ideal Candidates Requirements:
-Minimum 1 year of experience working in a warehouse setting
-Must possess a Valid US Driver’s License with a Good Driving Record
-Have the ability to lift up to 40-70 lbs and push & pull up to 100 lbs
-Must possess a valid forklift certification
-Have prior experience operating a forklift
-Must have good time management skills
-Must possess good organizational skills
-Ability to maintain stability of the pallet by properly stacking & shrink-wrapping the pallet
-Be willing to use hands as well as equipment to unload and/or stage product
-Ability to work independently as well as with a team
-Should have good communication skills
-Must be at least 18 years of age
-Steel or composite-toed work boots or are required for work
-Must possess reliable transportation

Benefits Offered:
-Competitive Compensation: $16 to $19/hr with yearly potential as high as $39,520/yr PLUS Overtime Hours Possible (Hourly rate is based on experience)
-5 Day Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, slight flexibility (8:30am-5:30p, 8am to 5pm, 7am to 4pm)
